This book has a controversial ending as you can see from many of the comments. Some readers might think that it goes just a little too far in giving us more information than we need to know-- that it's actually scarier to leave many things unknown. However, I understand why the author chose to force a lot of exposition and explanation into the ending, since the Redditors he was writing for were clamoring for answers and protesting the cryptic final message that the author originally left as a coda to the story. I suppose it's an individual decision to read the last two chapters or not, but you may not be able to resist, as this is an incredibly engrossing and spine-tingling story.
The story itself was incredibly enjoyable, right until the end. I expected answers, and all it felt like I was given a rushed ending that felt incredibly out of place with the rest of the story.
